I received two degrees and have mostly used my wildlife management degree in coordination of landscape conservation projects in Hawaii. I finally did travel to France and French-speaking parts of Switzerland a few years ago and was very happy that my French had not deserted me. I was able to understand – and be understood – most of the time.
