Ibitowa, Muideen Owakorede
Graduate Assistant

Ibitowa Owakorede Muideen is an experienced and enthusiastic Nigerian teacher. He has worked as a language instructor and administrator at the University of Abidjan, Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire and as a part-time lecturer at the Osun State College of Education, Ilesha Abidjan Chapter. In summer 2021, he worked with Professor Phyllis Taoua of the University of Arizona, U.S.A., as a research assistant on current themes regarding social and political criticism and the utilization of music videos and films as instruments of activism. He holds a B.A(Ed) in French from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Nigeria. Muideen is a master’s student of French and Francophone Studies in the French and Italian Studies Department of the University of Arizona. Currently, he works as a graduate teaching assistant in the teaching of French at the graduate level.
