Christine Duvergé

Senior Lecturer in French

My degree, a Ph.D in 17th century French literature, has allowed me to continue what I love the most: teaching. I have received amazing mentorship from Professor Leibacher, my dissertation director. She has taught me how to teach and research. I also write fiction and personal essays. Fiction writing has always been something that I’ve wanted to do, and I believe that my training at the University of Arizona, as a student in the Humanities, has allowed for this. I have two novels out, "Camp Agonie" and "L’Essoufflée" and I am at work on a third one. I have an author’s page: https://www.facebook.com/christineduverge.
