Congratulations to Dr. Annette Joseph-Gabriel who has just been awarded the Africana Studies Competitive Research Grant for Affiliated Faculty. This generous award will allow Dr. Joseph-Gabriel to travel to Oxford University where she was invited to present a paper later this spring entitled, “Decolonizing Citizenship: Francophone African Women’s Political Practices in Contested Spaces.”
