Dr. Katherine Roberts (Wilfrid Laurier University) will give a presentation titled "The Politics of Place in Contemporary Québec Cinema (2000-2015)" in February. 

Dr. Katherine Ann Roberts is an Associate Professor at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario where she teaches in both the French and North American Studies programs. She is a specialist of Quebec literature and culture. Her forthcoming manuscript, West/Border/Road: Nation and Genre in Contemporary Canadian Narrative, will be published by McGill-Queen’s University Press. Her work has appeared in Quebec Studies, Canadian Literature, The European Journal of American Studies, The Journal of Canadian Studies and in other collected volumes.
