Dr. Ronaldo Lima, Professor of French and Translation Studies at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina in Florianópolis, Brazil, will discuss the current state of French studies and programs in Brazil in an informal lecture/conversation on Wednesday September 5 at 4:30-5:30pm in 578 Modern Languages Building. This is an opportunity for French faculty, French and SLAT graduate students, as well as local high school teachers of French to exchange with a colleague from Brazil.
Dr. Lima received a PhD. in Sciences du Langage from the Université de Nice Sophia-Antipolis.
Please note that the meeting will be conducted in French.
