Michelangelo Zaccarello Public Lecture

 The Department of French and Italian will be sponsoring a public lecture by Michelangelo Zaccarello (Associate Professor of Italian Philology, Università di Verona). 
 
The title of his talk: “The Shifting Boundaries of Decency: A Brief History of the Language of Italian Comic and Erotic Poetry.”
 
Prof. Zaccarello is currently in the United States on a Fulbright.  He is a specialist on Renaissance authors such as Luigi Pulci and Domenico di Giovanni, nicknamed Burchiello.  He works on the critical editions of early poets, including Franco Sacchetti and Paolo di Certaldo.
