Lola McCoy (Guerra) graduated from the UA French and Italian Department in May 2017 with a MA in French and an emphasis in Teaching French as a Foreign Language. She is currently a Ph.D candidate in the UA interdisciplinary SLAT program (Second Language Acquisition and Teaching). Her research interests are geared towards the acquisition of morphosyntactic features of French by English learners. In the future, she is hoping to continue teaching French at an advanced level while pursuing further research in her area of interest.
Listening, speaking, reading, and writing; an introduction to the basic structures and vocabulary of French. Does not count toward French major or minor.
This course stresses written communication. In addition, conversation and reading are targeted as means to inform writing.
